Julius Baker (ジュリアス・ベイカー)。アメリカの男性フルート奏者。1915年9月23日生まれ。

オハイオ州のクリーヴランド生まれ。9歳よりロシアからの移民である父からフルートを習った。イーストマン音楽院でレオナルド・デ・ロレンツォ、カーティス音楽院でウィリアム・キンケイド、マルセル・タビュトーに師事。1937年から1941年までクリーブランド管弦楽団の第2フルート奏者として活躍。1941年から1943年までは、ピッツバーグ交響楽団、1951年から1953年まではシカゴ交響楽団、さらに1965年からはピエール・ブーレーズ、ズービン・メータ、レナード・バーンスタイン指揮のニューヨークフィルハーモニー管弦楽団首席フルート奏者として活躍した(同時期にコロンビア交響楽団でもフルート奏者を務めている)。室内楽にも精力的に取り組んでおり、ピアニストのグレン・グールド、ヴァイオリニストのラファエル・ドルイアン、ニューヨーク・フィルのメンバーともにバッハのブランデンブルク協奏曲第4番を録音した。指揮者のレナード・バーンスタインやブルーノ・ウォルターと共演し多くの録音を残した。ジュリアード音楽院、カーティス音楽院、カーネギー・メロン大学でフルートの教授を務めた。教え子にはジーン・バックストレッサー、ダマーレ・マクギル、ヴァレリー・コールマン、ジャスミン・チョイ、ミミ・スティルマン 、ポーラ・ロビンソン、マリーナ・ピッチニーニなど著名なフルート奏者が数多くいる。
