ウェールズの歌手。2007年までに1000万枚のレコードセールスを記録。2002年まではクラッシック歌手として活躍。英語、ウェールズ語、ラテン語、イタリア語、フランス語で歌っていた。 ソニーミュージックと契約し、1stアルバム「Voice of an Angel」(日本版のリリース名は「天使の歌声」)が世界的に大ヒット。2005年に最初のポップアルバム「Tissues and Issues」をリリース。
