スウェーデン・エンスケデ出身。フォークシンガー。ストックホルムのエンスケデで育った。ストックホルムの王立音楽大学の民族音楽科に通い、1998年から2002年まで、スウェーデンのフォークミュージック・アクトGroupaのフルタイムメンバーとして活動。2002年、ソロ・デビュー・アルバム『Folk songs』をリリース。2005年、セカンドアルバム『Svarta ballader (Black Ballads)』をリリース。『Svarta ballader (Black Ballads)』はスウェーデンとデンマークのグラミー賞を受賞している。アルバムには、ボードレール、ダン・アンダーソン、マリアンヌ・フローディン、ミカエル・ウィーエ、アルフ・ハンベ、インガー・ヘーゲルプ、カール・マイケル・ベルマン、ペップス・ペーション、エバート・トーベといった詩人や音楽家が書いたクラシック音楽の歌が、スウェーデン語で歌われて収録されている。
