Angela Gheorghiu (アンジェラ・ゲオルギュー)。ルーマニアの女性オペラ歌手。1965年9月7日生まれ。
ソプラノ歌手で、特にプッチーニとヴェルディのオペラでの演奏で知られ、批評家やオペラ愛好家から史上最高のソプラノ歌手として広く認められている。ルーマニアのアジュドで、裁縫師の母と列車の運転手の父の間に生まれた。 妹のエレナとともに、幼い頃からオペラ音楽を歌っていた。14歳のときからチプリアン・ポルムベスツ音楽院で歌を学び、主にミア・バルブから指導を受けるようになる。1990年にクルージュ・ナポカ・ルーマニア国立歌劇場で『ラ・ボエーム』のミミィ役を歌ってデビューし、同年ベルヴェデーレ国際歌唱コンクールで3位を獲得した。1991年、バーゼル劇場で『L'elisir d'amore』のアディーナ役で国際デビューを果たした。1992年にロイヤル・オペラ・ハウスとウィーン国立歌劇場に、1993年にはニューヨークのメトロポリタン歌劇場にデビューした。1994年、コヴェント・ガーデンでヴェルディの『椿姫』のヴィオレッタ役を演じ、一躍世界的なスターダムにのし上がった。『ボエーム』ミミ、『ロンディーネ』マグダ、『トスカ』タイトルロール、『アドリアナ・ルクヴルール』などの代表的な役柄を演じている。1992年に出会い、1996年に結婚したフランスのテノール歌手ロベルト・アラーニャとは、2013年に離婚するまで、コンサートやオペラ公演で頻繁に共演していた。「世界で最もグラマラスなオペラスター」とされている。主にEMIクラシック（2013年にワーナークラシックに吸収）、デッカから多くの録音をリリースしている。2001年と2010年にクラシック・ブリット・アワードの女性アーティスト・オブ・ザ・イヤーを受賞。 EMIクラシックスからリリースされたプッチーニのラロンディンは、1997年にレコードオブザイヤーを受賞。5つのグラモフォン賞を受賞しているほか、ジョルジュ・エネスク国立芸術大学（2010年）、ゲオルゲ・ディマ音楽院（2014年）、ブカレスト大学（2017年）から名誉博士号を授与されている。
