指揮者
Christian Thielemann (クリスティアン・ティーレマン)。ドイツの男性指揮者。1959年4月1日生まれ。
ハンス・アイスラー音楽大学ベルリンでヴィオラとピアノを学ぶ。指揮と作曲を個人レッスンで学び、ハインリヒ・ホルライザーのもとベルリン・ドイツ・オペラでレペティートルを務めた。ヘルベルト・フォン・カラヤンの助手としても働いた。1991年にアメリカのメトロポリタンオペラでデビュー。シュターツカペレ・ドレスデンの首席指揮者、ザルツブルク・イースター・フェスティバルの芸術監督を務めている。2003年にドイツ連邦共和国功労勲章を授与され、2011年に英国王立音楽アカデミーの名誉メンバーに選出された。
