Marcelo Lehninger (マルチェロ・レーニンガ)。ブラジルの男性指揮者。1979年10月1日生まれ。
ドイツ人ヴァイオリニスト、エーリヒ・リーニンガーとブラジル人ピアニスト、ソニア・グーラルトの息子として生まれる。ブラジル音楽院で指揮の学士号を、ニューヨークのバード大学指揮者研究所で修士号を取得し、ハロルド・ファーバーマンに指揮を、ローレンス・ワラックに作曲を師事した。レナード・スラトキンやロベルト・ティビリサにも師事している。国立指揮者協会の卒業生で、2007年にワシントンDCのジョン・F・ケネディ舞台芸術センターで国立交響楽団とデビュー。2008年夏には、YOAとピアニストのネルソン・フレイレとともに南米ツアーを行い、アルゼンチン、ブラジル、ウルグアイでコンサートを行った。2008年、メンデルスゾーン財団のアメリカン・フレンズが主催する第1回フェリックス・メンデルスゾーン・バルトルディ奨学金を授与された。2011年には、アメリカオーケストラ連盟が主催するブルーノ・ワルター・ナショナル・コンダクター・プレビューに参加し、ルイジアナ・フィルを指揮した。2011年から2016年までロサンゼルスのニューウェスト交響楽団の音楽監督を務めた。2016年6月にアメリカ合衆国ミシガン州グランドラピッズにある地域オーケストラ、グランドラピッズ交響楽団14代目音楽監督に就任した。ニューウェスト交響楽団在任中、2014年のHelen M. Thompson Award for Emerging Music Director（League of American Orchestrasが2年に1度授与する新進音楽監督賞)を受賞。2010年、当時ボストン交響楽団(BSO)の音楽監督だったジェームズ・レヴァインからボストン交響楽団のアシスタントコンダクターに任命された。2011年3月には、レヴァインに代わって3日前にリハーサルを行い、ハリソン・バートウィッスルの新作ヴァイオリン協奏曲の世界初演を含むコンサートを指揮した。2013年には副指揮者に昇格し、2015年までの2シーズン、BSOで指揮を執った。妻のローラ・アン・クレヒと娘たちとともにミシガン州グランドラピッズ近郊に住んでいる。
