Leif Segerstam (レイフ・セーゲルスタム)。フィンランドの男性指揮者。1944年3月2日生まれ。
フィンランドのヴァーサ音楽一家に生まれた。1947年に家族とともにヘルシンキに移住した。学生時代には、ヘルシンキ・ユース・オーケストラでヴァイオリンとヴィオラを演奏していた。1962年にヴァイオリニストとしてデビューコンサートを行い、1963年にタンペレでのロッシーニの『セビリアの理髪師』で指揮者としてデビュー。初演後、フィンランド国立オペラを、その1年後にはフィンランド放送交響楽団を指揮することになった。ストラヴィンスキーの『詩篇交響曲』やショスタコーヴィチの交響曲第1番など現代作品を指揮した。ヘルシンキのシベリウス・アカデミーでヴァイオリン、ピアノ、指揮を学び、1963年に指揮のディプロマを取得した。ニューヨークのジュリアード音楽院でジャン・モレルに指揮も学び、1965年に大学院のディプロマを取得した。1968年にストックホルム王立歌劇場の指揮者、後に芸術監督となり、1970年代初頭からベルリンのドイツ歌劇場、フィンランド国立歌劇場と仕事をするようになった。1995年から2007年までヘルシンキ・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団の首席指揮者を務め、現在は同楽団の名誉首席指揮者の称号を持っている。デンマーク国立放送交響楽団、オーストリア放送交響楽団など数多くのオーケストラに在籍し、シカゴ交響楽団、ロサンゼルス・フィルハーモニック、トロント交響楽団、ロイヤル・リヴァプール・フィルハーモニック、サンパウロ州立交響楽団など世界中の多くのオーケストラに客演している。1997年秋から2013年春まで、ヘルシンキのシベリウス・アカデミーでオーケストラ指揮の教授を務めた。作曲家として350曲もの交響曲を作曲している。
