Christopher Hogwood (クリストファー・ホグウッド)。イギリスの男性指揮者。1941年9月10日生まれ。2014年9月24日没。
チェンバロ奏者、作家、音楽学者。ノッティンガム生まれ。ケンブリッジ大学のペンブルック・カレッジで古典文学を学ぶ。レイモンド・レッパード、マリー・ポッツ、サーストン・ダート、ラファエル・プヤーナ、グスタフ・レオンハルトらにチェンバロや指揮を師事した。チェコのプラハで、チェンバロ奏者のズザナ・ルージチコヴァーにも師事した。1967年に古楽器奏者、デイヴィッド・マンロウとともにEarly Music Consortを設立。1973年には、ピリオド楽器を利用してバロック時代の演奏に特化したアンサンブル、エンシェント室内管弦楽団(Academy of Ancient Music)を創立した。1986年から2001年までボストンのヘンデル・ハイドン協会の芸術監督を務めた。ロンドンのバービカン・センターでのモーツァルト音楽祭でも芸術監督を務めた。1988年から1992年の間、ミネソタでセントポール室内管弦楽団で音楽監督を務めた。1983年にミズーリ州のセントルイスでドン・ジョバンニを指揮してオペラの指揮者としてデビューして以降、オペラ作品の指揮も数多く行った。ベルリン国立歌劇場、ミラノのスカラ座、ストックホルム王立歌劇場、ロンドンのコヴェント・ガーデンにあるロイヤル・オペラ・ハウスで公演を行っている。チェンバロ演奏も精力的に行っており、ルイ・クープラン、バッハ、トマス・アーン、ウィリアム・バードの作品の録音をリリースしている。
