指揮者
Joshua Weilerstein (ジョシュア・ワイラースタイン)。アメリカの男性指揮者。1987年生まれ。
父はクリーヴランド弦楽四重奏団創設時のヴァイオリン奏者のドナルド・ワイラースタイン、母はピアニストのヴィヴィアン・ワイラースタイン。姉はチェロ奏者として有名なアリサ・ワイラースタイン。ニューイングランド音楽院で指揮とヴァイオリンを学ぶ。2007年にシモン・ボリバル・ユース・オーケストラとヴァイオリニストとして契約。2010年にはシモン・ボリバル・ユース・オーケストラで指揮者としてデビューし、以降は指揮者として目覚ましい活躍を遂げる。2020年現在、ローザンヌ室内管弦楽団の芸術監督を務める。ヨーロッパ、アメリカを中心に活躍。
