Yannick Nezet-Seguin (ヤニック・ネゼ＝セガン)。カナダの男性指揮者。1975年3月6日生まれ。
5歳からピアノを始め、Jeanne-d'Arc Lebrun-Lussierにピアノを師事。10歳で指揮者を目指すようになった。 St-Isaac-Jogues小学校、CollegeMont-Saint-Louis中等学校、モントリオールのBois de Boulogneカレッジで学んだ。同時にケベック音楽院でアンシア・カンポにピアノを師事。ニュージャージー州のプリsンストンにあるウェストミンスター声楽カレッジでジョゼフ・フランマーフェルトに声楽指揮を師事した。19歳の時、カルロ・マリア・ジュリーの下でリハーサルやコンサートの指揮を学んだ。1995年に自ら合唱アンサンブル「La Chapelle de Montreal」を創設。2008年から2018年までの間、ロッテルダム・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団の首席指揮者を務めた。2003年には、ヴィクトリア交響楽団の首席客員指揮者を務めた。2008年にはシャルル・デュトワの招きでフィラデルフィア管弦楽団と初共演した。2009年にはニューヨークのメトロポリタンオペラでカルメンを指揮してデビュー。イギリスでは、2005年から2007年にかけてノーザン・シンフォニア、ロンドン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、スコットランド室内管弦楽団を指揮してデビュー。モントリオールのメトロポリタン管弦楽団、メトロポリタン・オペラ、フィラデルフィア管弦楽団の音楽監督を務めている。録音ではこれまでに、ベートーヴェン、ブルックナー、ストラヴィンスキー、シューマン、メンデルスゾーンの交響曲の録音をリリースしている。
