Maria Kliegel (マリア・クリーゲル)
チェリスト
Maria Kliegel (マリア・クリーゲル)。ドイツの女性チェリスト。1952年11月14日生まれ。
ドイツのディレンブルク生まれ。10歳からチェロを始める。1968年から1970年までフランクフルト音楽院でチェロを学んだ後、カナダへ渡り、ブルーミントンのインディアナ大学でヤーノシュ・シュタルケルに師事。1981年の第2回ムスティスラフ・・ロストロポーヴィチ国際チェロコンクールで優勝。Naxosレーベルから数多くの録音をリリース。2003年にリリースしたバッハのチェロ作品集の録音は、非常に高い評価を受けている。
