Tanya Tomkins (ターニャ・トムキンス)。アメリカの女性チェリスト。
バレー・オブ・ザ・ムーン音楽祭の芸術監督兼共同創設者。バロックとモダンの両方で活躍している。14年間オランダに滞在し、ヨーロッパ中の多くの室内楽団と共演した。フリック・コレクション、リンカーン・センターの「グレート・パフォーマンセス」、92ndストリートY、サンフランシスコ・パフォーマンス、コンセルトヘボウ・クライネ・ザールなど、多くの室内楽シリーズに出演し、高い評価を受けている。バッハのチェロ組曲の解釈には定評があり、アヴィ・レーベルに全曲を録音し、ニューヨークのル・ポワソン・ルージュ、シアトル古楽ギルド、バンクーバー古楽協会、国会図書館などで何度も演奏している。過去20年間、サンフランシスコのフィルハーモニア・バロック・オーケストラとポートランド・バロック・オーケストラの首席チェリストの一人として、またソリストとして両オーケストラにも出演している。モダン・チェロでは、ユタ州のモアブ音楽祭、ナパのミュージック・イン・ザ・ヴィニヤーズに長年参加し、レフト・コースト室内アンサンブルのメンバーとして活動し、現在はベイエリアを拠点とするデルファイ・ピアノ・トリオのメンバーとして活動している。教育者としては、イェール大学、ジュリアード音楽院、サンフランシスコ音楽院でマスタークラスを担当し、エリック・ジヴィアンと共にバレー・オブ・ザ・ムーン音楽祭の教育プログラムを運営している。
