チェリスト デンマーク (Denmark)

Morten Zeuthen (モーテン・ツォイテン)。デンマークの男性チェリスト。1951年6月19日生まれ。

ソリストとしての演奏活動はもちろんのこと、ピアニストのアマリー・マリングとともデュオを組んで演奏活動も行っいる。ニューヨークのカーネギーホールやロンドンのウィグモアホール、日本大学カザルスホールなどで演奏を行っている。1976年から2000年の間、コントラ弦楽四重奏楽団のチェリストを務めた。また1978年から1998年の間、デンマーク国立放送交響楽団の首席チェロ奏者を務めた。ソリスト、コントラ弦楽四重奏楽団のメンバーとして数多くの録音をリリースしており、録音はNordic Council Music Prizeへノミネートされたこともある。デンマーク王立音楽アカデミーのチェロの教授として後進の育成にあたっている。
