ピアニスト
Edna Golandsky (エドナ・ゴランズスキー)。アメリカの女性ピアニスト。
クラシック音楽のピアニスト、講師、教育者。ジュリアード音楽院を卒業し、ロジーナ・レヴィンヌとアデル・マーカスに師事。その後、ドロシー・タウブマンに長年にわたり個人的に学んだ。ピアニストとしての技術的な問題を解決する能力と、音楽的な洞察力が高く評価され、アメリカ国内だけでなく海外でも広く活躍している。エネスク・コンクール優勝者のジョス・デ・ソラウン・ソト、ショパン・コンクール優勝者のガブリエラ・モンテロ、リーズ・コンクール優勝者のイリヤ・アイティンなど、多くの著名なコンサート・ピアニストが頻繁にニューヨークのスタジオで演奏している。タウブマン・インスティテュートを共同で設立し、1976年から2002年まで副芸術監督を務めた。2003年6月、タウブマン・インスティテュートに所属していたシニア・ファカルティとともにゴランスキー・インスティテュートを設立。イーストマン音楽院、イェール大学、ハーバード大学、カーティス音楽院、オベリン音楽院などの米国内の音楽機関で講義やマスタークラスを行っている。また、全米音楽教師協会、世界ピアノ教育学会議、ヨーロッパピアノ教師協会などでも発表している。タウブマン・アプローチを解説・実演した10枚のDVDボックスセット「The Taubman Technique」を発表している。また、ゴランドスキー・インスティテュートと共同で、タウブマン・アプローチをさらに発展させた3枚組DVD「The Art of Rhythmic Expression」と2枚組DVD「The Forgotten Lines」をリリースした。ヴァイオリニストのソフィー・ティルとともに、タウブマンの原理を弦楽器奏者に応用することに取り組んでいる。
