ピアニスト
Hideyo Harada (原田英代)。日本の女性ピアニスト。
4月17日生まれ。山口県防府市出身。東京藝術大学および同大学院卒業。ドイツでシュトゥットガルト国立音楽大学、ウィーン国立音楽大学、さらにロシアのモスクワ音楽院でヴィクトール・メルジャーノフの下でピアノの研鑽を積む。1984年のジュネーヴ国際コンクールで最高位を受賞。、1991年のシューベルト国際ピアノ・コンクールで第1位受賞。日本では、NHK交響楽団、読売日本交響楽団、日本フィル、新日本フィルなどと共演。ヴァイオリニストでは、ラティツァ・ホンダ＝ローゼンベルク、ミハイル・シモニアンらと共演。2012年には、明治神宮にて行われた明治天皇百年祭で奉納演奏を行い注目を集めた。これまでにシューマン、チャイコフスキー、ラフマニノフ、グリーグ、シューベルトのピアノ作品を収めたアルバムをリリース。

【団体活動レポート】 2013年11月29日(金)、全日本私立幼稚園連合会「こどもがまんなかプロジェクト」の被災地応援活動で行われた「原田英代ピアノコンサート」。午前中の福島めばえ幼稚園に続いて、午後は一般の福島市民を対象に福島文化センターで開催された。ここでは原田さんがシューベルトなど作曲家の生い立ちやエピソードを紹介しながら演奏した。
