Mari Asakawa (朝川万里)
ピアニスト
Mari Asakawa (朝川万里)。日本の女性ピアニスト。
12歳の時アメリカへ家族とともに移住。ジュリアード音楽院、エール大学大学院を卒業。アメリカの作曲家、アメリカの作曲家、エリオット・カーター（1908-2012）やミルトン・バビット(1916-2011))の作品の演奏を行い、普及に尽力している。2012年、2016年にニューヨークのカーネギーホール内のワイルリサイタルホールでリサイタルを開催。現在、愛知県立芸術大学、玉川大学、放送大学などで非常勤講師を務める。2018年にカーターとバビットの作品を収めたアルバムをリリース。
