Mona Golabek (モナ・ゴラベク)
ピアニスト
Mona Golabek (モナ・ゴラベク)。アメリカの女性ピアニスト。1954年生まれ。
母親はオーストリア生まれのピアニスト、父親は第2次世界大戦時フランスのレジスタンスの戦闘員だった。母親はナチス・ドイツ時代のキンダートランスポート (Kindertransport) としてイギリスに疎開した子供の1人だった。母親からピアノを習う。1972年に「 Young Concert Artists International Auditions」で賞を受賞し、ニューヨークでリサイタルデビュー。以降アメリカのハリウッド・ボールやケネディ・センタ－、ロイヤルフェスティバルホールなどでリサイタルを行った。1992年には妹でピアニストのレニー・ゴラベック・ケイとともにサンサーンスの「動物の謝肉祭」を録音しリリース。1998年より「The Romantic Hours」というラジオ放送のホストとして活躍している。
