Sarah Masterson (サラ・マスターソン)。アメリカの女性ピアニスト。
2011年、コネチカット大学で音楽芸術博士号を取得し、専攻はピアノ演奏、副専攻は音楽理論に重点を置いた。ニール・ララビー、クロード・サイマーマン、フィリス・ニードナゲル氏などの指導を受けた。イースタン・コネティカット州立大学とフィッチバーグ州立大学で教鞭をとった後、サウスカロライナ州ニューベリーのニューベリー大学でピアノと音楽理論の准教授を務め、音楽理論コーディネーター、音楽学部ソーシャルメディアディレクター、ダー・ワイズ・ピアノ・コンクールの創設芸術監督も務めている。また、大学音楽協会とアメリカン・ギルド・オブ・オルガニストのメンバーとしても活躍している。20世紀アメリカの女性作曲家の作品を中心に研究しており、ハートフォードの女性作曲家フェスティバル、大学音楽協会中部大西洋会議、CMS全米会議などで発表している。演奏家としては、エヴァンスヴィル・フィルハーモニック・オーケストラ、デポー・オーケストラ、コネチカット大学交響楽団、ニューベリーカレッジ・ウィンドアンサンブルとソリストとして共演している。現在、ニューイングランド、中西部、南東部で活発な演奏活動を続けている。彼女が結成したマスターソン・アンサンブルは、ニューヨークのスタインウェイ・ホールでコンサートを開き、2020年2月には南東部ツアーを行った。最も新しい研究プロジェクトは、フィリッパ・シュイラーのピアノ曲に関わるもので、録音したシャイラーの「七つの柱」は2022年4月1日にケンタウルス・レコードから発売され、論文「アメリカのロレンス」も発表された。
