ブルックリン在住。2007年にリリースしたJ.S.バッハのゴールドベルク変奏曲の録音で、ビルボードチャートのクラシック部門で週間1位を獲得し、ニューヨークタイムズ、ロサンジェルスタイムズなどで絶賛される。伝統的なクラシックの会場以外の場所でクラシック音楽を演奏するピアティゴルスキー財団を通して、刑務所や矯正機関などでコンサートを行っている。マネス音楽大学で教鞭をとっている。、
