Yury Favorin (ユーリ・ファヴォリン)
ピアニスト
Yury Favorin (ユーリ・ファヴォリン)。ロシアの男性ピアニスト。1986年12月17日生まれ。
日本語表記では「ユーリー・ファヴォーリン」の表記もある。2004年から2009年の間、グネーシン音楽学校で、ピアノをリディア・グリゴリエワ、クラリネットをイワン・モズゴヴェンコ、作曲をウラジミール・ドヴガンを師事。モスクワ国立チャイコフスキー音楽院でピアノをミハイル・ヴォスクレセンスキーに師事。2012年にフランスのナント、東京で開催された第18回フェスティバル「La Folle Journee」2011年にモスクワで開催されたArt-Novemberなど、数多くの音楽祭に参加。ロシアを中心に、オランダ、ベルギー、ポーランド、ドイツ、ハンガリー、オーストリア、ノルウェー、イタリア、日本、フランスでも演奏活動を行っている。ベートーベン、ロベルト・シューマン、ショパン、リスト、グリーグ、チャイコフスキー、ラフマニノフ、メトナー、ショスタコーヴィチ、ブゾーニ、ヤナーチェク、オリヴィエ・メシアン、マルカンドレ・ハメリン、アレクセイ・シソエフ、ゲオルク・フリードリッヒ・ハース、ピーター・アブリンガー、フィリップ・ルルー、リチャード・バレット、シャリーノ、デュフォーら幅広い時代の作曲家の作品をレパートリーに持っている。2007年には、ブーレーズが指揮したアンサンブル・アンテルコンタンポランでメシアンの「Oiseaux exotiques」を演奏した。2007年のオリヴィエ・メシアンコンクーで第4位、2007年にはフランスのパリで若手ソリスト賞を受賞。2010年のエリザベート王妃音楽コンクールで第4位を受賞。2009年にメトネルのピアノソナタ全曲録音をリリースしている。
