Clare Hammond (クレア・ハモンド)

Clare Hammond (クレア・ハモンド)。イギリスの女性ピアニスト。1985年生まれ。
ノッティンガムで育ち、ノッティンガム女子高等学校で教育を受けた後、ケンブリッジのエマニュエル・カレッジで学び、音楽でダブル・ファーストを達成した。その後、ギルドホール音楽演劇学校でRonan O'Horaのもとで大学院課程を修了。また、ロンドンのシティ大学でDMA(Doctor of Musical Arts)を取得。ヨーロッパ各地のコンサートホールやフェスティバルで演奏しており、BBCラジオ3やその他のヨーロッパのラジオネットワークで定期的に放送されている。2016年にはロイヤル・フィルハーモニック・ソサエティのヤング・アーティスト賞を受賞。現代音楽では、ロバート・サクストン、ケネス・ヘスケス、エドウィン・ロクスバーグ、ジョン・マッケイブ、アーリーン・シエラなどの作曲家の主要作品を世界初演している。2014年にはワルシャワで開催された「Chopin and his Europe Festival」に出演。BBCウェールズ・ナショナル管弦楽団（マーティン・ブラビンス）とケネス・ヘスケスの『Uncoiling The River』を世界初演し、2019年にはスウェーデン室内管弦楽団(ニコラス・マクゲガン)との『マイスリベチェクのキーボード作品全集』をBISレコードからリリースした。ブロツキー、エンデリオン、バドケのカルテットや、ヘニング・クラッゲルード、アンドリュー・ケネディ、ジェニファー・パイク、ローレンス・パワーなどのアーティストと共演している。
