Emmanuel Despax (エマニュエル・デスパックス)。フランスの男性ピアニスト。1984年生まれ。
パリ生まれ、ロンドン在住。エクス・アン・プロヴァンスでピアノを始め、その後2002年からユーディ・メニューイン音楽院に入学しクラウディオ・アラウの優等生ルース・ナイに師事し、2006年に卒業した。在学中は数々の賞（チャペル・メダル、タゴール・ゴールド・メダル）を受賞し、ニコライ・デミデンコ、レオン・フライシャー、ユーディ・メニューイン、ドミニク・メルレ、ムスティスラフ・ロストロポーヴィチ、マレー・ペライア、アンドラーシュ・シフらから多大な指導を受けた。ロマン派および後期ロマン派音楽の著名な演奏家として、英国（ウィグモア・ホール、カドガン・ホール、チッピング・カムデン・フェスティバル、ペットワース・フェスティバル、ノッティンガムのロイヤル・コンサートホールでは、2020年にベートーヴェンのピアノソナタ全曲演奏の芸術監督に就任）、フランス（ルーブル美術館オーディトリアム、サル・コルトー、サル・ガヴォー、エクス・アン・プロヴァンスの国際ピアニスト音楽祭、プージュラの音楽祭、サントロペのラ・ムートの城の夜）、ベネルクス（アムステルダム、ハーグ、ブリュッセルのパレ・デ・ボザール）、キプロス（ファロス・アーツ財団）、イタリア（ファツィオリ・オーディトリアム）、そして南米でリサイタルを開催。現在はロンドンを拠点に活動している。これまでの活動には、ニュージーランドへの2度のツアーがあり、オークランドで開催される権威あるファツィオリ国際ピアノ・シリーズでのリサイタルや、クライストチャーチ交響楽団との協奏曲演奏は批評家から高い評価を得ている。英国では、BBC交響楽団、バーミンガム市交響楽団、BBCスコティッシュ交響楽団など、数多くのオーケストラと共演している。メディチTV、フランス・ミュージック、BBCラジオ3、クラシックFMでも定期的に放送されている。デビュー作である協奏曲では、カミーユ・サン＝サーンスのピアノ協奏曲第2番とスティーヴン・ゴスのピアノ協奏曲を取り上げ、ショパンの前奏曲集はクラシックFMの「今週のアルバム」に選ばれ、ディアパソン誌では5つ星を獲得した。また、ミュージカル「サウンド・オブ・ミュージック」の60周年を記念し、同曲のテーマに基づいたピアノ・ファンタジーをリリースした。アンドリュー・リットン指揮、BBC交響楽団とのヨハネス・ブラームスのピアノ協奏曲第1番の録音に加え、これまでに『Spira, Spera』（バッハ編曲）をリリースしており、同曲は国際ピアノ批評家協会の「批評家チョイス」賞を受賞している。チネケ・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団との共演によるショパンのピアノ協奏曲の室内楽編曲を収録したアルバムをリリースしている。2025年10月19日には、吹田市文化会館メイシアター大ホールにて、岡原慎也の指揮によるテレマン室内オーケストラと共演して、ラフマニノフのパガニーニの主題による狂詩曲、 サン＝サーンス：動物の謝肉祭（1st.ピアノ:野山真希、2nd.ピアノ:エマニュエル・デスパックス)を演奏した。
