Freddy Kempf (フレディ・ケンプ)。イギリスの男性ピアニスト。1977年10月14日生まれ。
ドイツ人の父と日本人の母の下に生まれる。ベルリン在住。イギリスのセント・エドマンズ・カレッジ、英国王立音楽アカデミーで学んだ。4歳よりロナルド・スミスの下でピアノを始める。ロイヤル・フェスティバル・ホールでロイヤル・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団と共演してモーツァルトのピアノ協奏曲第12番を演奏して注目を集めた。1992年には、ラフマニノフンの「パガニーニの主題による狂詩曲」の演奏でBBC若手音楽家に選出された。1996年にはアメリカニューヨークの若手演奏家国際オーディション(Young Concert Artists International Auditions)で受賞し、カーネギーホールでリサイタルデビューした。1998年のチャイコフスキー国際コンクールのピアノ部門で第3位を受賞。ソリスト、室内楽奏者として精力的に演奏活動を行い、ヨーロッパ、アメリカ、日本、オーストラリアでコンサートを行っている。2000年には、ヴァイオリニストのピエール・ベンサイード、チェリストのアレクサンダー・チャウシアンとともに、ケンプ三重奏団を結成。ベルギーのフランダース・フェスティバル、フランスのオルフェウスとバッカス・フェスティバルに出演している。2017-2018年のシーズンは、ニュージーランド交響楽団とのツアー、ルーマニア放送交響楽団とのラフマニノフのピアノ協奏曲第2番、ポーランド国立放送交響楽団とのバルトークのピアノ協奏曲第3番、バーミンガム市交響楽団とのグリーグのピアノ協奏曲などを演奏している。録音では、バッハ、ショパン、リスト、プロコフィエフ、ラフマニノフ、シューマンの作品の録音をリリースしている。特に2010年のプロコフィエフのピアノ協奏曲(リットン指揮のベルゲン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団と共演)はグラモフォン・コンチェルト・アワードにノミネートされた。2015年には、チャイコフスキーの作品を収録したアルバムも高く評価されている。
