Marc-Andre Hamelin (マルカンドレ・アムラン)。フランスの男性ピアニスト。1961年9月5日生まれ。
ケベック州モントリオール生まれ。5歳からピアノを始める。父親はアマチュアのピアニストで、アムランが若いころから、フランスの作曲家シャルル・ヴァランタン・アルカン、ポーランド系ユダヤ人作曲家・ピアニストのレオポルド・ゴドフスキー、イギリスの作曲家カイホスルー・ソラブジの作品を紹介していた。モントリオールにあるバンサン・ダンディ音楽学校(Ecole De Musique Vincent D'Indy)でイボンヌ・ヒューバートに師事。フィラデルフィアのテンプル大学でピアノの研鑽を積んだ。1989年にVirginia Parker Prizeを受賞。レオポルド・ゴドフスキーの「ショパンのエチュードによる練習曲」の録音で2000年に雑誌「グラモフォン」の最優秀賞を受賞している。19世紀後半から20世紀前半の作曲家の作品の録音に数多く取り組んでおり、マックス・レーガー(ドイツ)、レオ・オーンスタイン(アメリカ)、ニコライ・ロスラヴェッツ(ロシア)、ゲオルギー・カトゥアール(ロシア)の作品の録音をリリースしている。自らもエチュードを作曲し、2009年にペータースから楽譜を出版し、録音をハイペリオンレーベルからリリースしている。1985年にはカーネギーホールでのアメリカ音楽国際んコンクールで表彰を受けている。録音は11回もグラミー賞にノミネートされている。また今までの功績をたたえられカナダ勲章も授与されている。
