ウクライナで生まれ、5歳からピアノを始める。モスクワに移りチャイコフスキー記念国立モスクワ音楽院でピアノ研鑽を積む。さらにドイツのハノーバー音楽大学でゲリット・ジッターバート、ベルリン芸術大学でクラウス・ヘルヴィヒに師事。
