Pierre-Laurent Aimard (ピエール＝ローラン・エマール)。フランスの男性ピアニスト。1957年9月9日生まれ。
リヨンで生まれ。リヨン地方音楽院に入学。その後、イヴォンヌ・ロリオ、マリア・クルチオに師事。1973年、パリ音楽院の室内楽賞を受賞。同年、オリヴィエ・メシアン国際コンクールで優勝。1977年にピエール・ブーレーズの招待で、アンサンブル・アンテルコンタンポランの創設メンバーとなった。20歳でシカゴ交響楽団と共演、オリヴィエ・メシアンのトゥーランガリラ交響曲でピアノソロパートを演奏してアメリカデビュー。特に現代音楽に取り組んでいます。彼は、ピエール・ブーレーズ、カールハインツ・シュトックハウゼン、リゲティ・ジェルジュの作品の初演でソリストを務めた。リゲティのピアノ練習曲の最初の2冊の録音は大きく注目された。イギリスの作曲家ジョージ・ベンジャミン、イタリアの作曲家ロベルト・カーネベル、マルコ・ストロッパらの現代の作曲家の作品も演奏。2012年5月、トリスタン・ミュライユのピアノ協奏曲ル・デセンシャンテメント・デュ・モンドを初演。2007年から2009年まで、クリーブランド管弦楽団のアーティスト・イン・レジデンスを務めた。2007年には、オハイ音楽祭の音楽監督を務めた。ニコラウス・アーノンクール指揮のヨーロッパ室内管弦楽団とベートーベンのピアノ協奏曲5曲を録音。2009年、イギリスのオールドバラ音楽祭の芸術監督に就任。英国王立音楽院の客員教授であり、名誉会員を務めている。
