Rachel Naomi Kudo (工藤奈帆美レイチェル)
ピアニスト
Rachel Naomi Kudo (工藤奈帆美レイチェル)。日本の女性ピアニスト。1987年生まれ。
米国ワシントンDCで生まれ、4歳よりピアノを始め、シカゴ音楽院のエミリオ・デル・ロザリオに師事する。1992年に帰国し、福井県永平寺町で育つ。仁愛短期大学「子供のための音楽教室」などで学ぶ。1999年第53回全日本学生コンクールピアノ部門小学生の部全国大会第1位。2000年第1回チェルニー・ステファンスカ国際ピアノコンクール第1位、ステファンスカ賞受賞。2001年ポーランド、ドゥズニキ国際ショパン音楽祭に出演。2001年ロシア、ハバロフスク市「21世紀の新人たち」音楽祭に出演。2001年渡米。2003年石川ミュージック・アカデミーIMA音楽賞受賞。2003年第9回米国オバリン国際ピアノコンクール第1位。2004年米国ダビドソン奨学財団特別賞受賞。2005年米国ショパン協会主催全米ショパンコンクール第2位。2005年ポーランド第15回ショパン国際ピアノ・コンクール、ファイナリスト。2007年、カーネギーホール主催「エマニュエル・アックス・ワークショップ」に招かれ、カーネギー・ワイル・リサイタルホールマスタークラスやコンサートに出演。2007年、2008年ジュリアード音楽院ジーナ・バッカワー国際ピアノコンクール1位（2年連続）、同ショパン賞受賞。2008年米国ギルモア音楽財団ギルモア・ヤング・アーティスト賞受賞、ギルモア国際音楽祭に招かれ演奏。2018年ライプツィヒのバッハ国際コンクールのピアノ部門で優勝。シカゴ交響楽団、ワルシャワ交響楽団、フォート・ワース交響楽団、レノ交響楽団、モンゴメリー交響楽団、南西ミシガン交響楽団、福井交響楽団などと共演。アスペン音楽祭、パリのコルトー・ホール、ウィーンのミュージックヴェラインに招かれ演奏、その他、米国のラジオ局WFMT, WQXRなどに出演。ジュリアード音楽院でヨヘヴェド・カプリンスキー、シカゴ音楽院エミリオ・デル・ロザリオ、バンクーバー音楽院の李金星、元東京芸術大学の笠間春子に師事。
