Rebecca Chaillot (レベッカ・シャイヨー)

Rebecca Chaillot (レベッカ・シャイヨー)。フランスの女性ピアニスト。
7歳のときハイドンのピアノ協奏曲でオーケストラデビュー。フランスののモンペリエ地方音楽院、スイスのジュネーヴ音楽院で学び、さらにインディアナ大学でレナード・ホカンソン、シェベーク・ジェルジ、エミール・ナウモフに師事。師のエミール・ナウモフにも認められ、ナウモフ自身が作曲した彼女のために作曲したピアノ曲でデュオ演奏も行った。フランスを中心に演奏活動を行っている。ヴァイオリニストのルノー・カピュソン、ローラン・コルシア、アレクシス・カルデナス、ジル・コリャール、チェロ奏者のゴーティエ・カピュソン、アラン・ムニエなど著名なアーティストと共数多く共演している。2006年にショパン、2007年にリスト、2010年にシューマンとハイドン、2015年にムソルグスキーとラヴェルのピアノ作品のアルバムをリリースするなど、精力的に録音活動も行っている。
