Joseph Fuchs (ジョセフ・フックス)。アメリカの男性ヴァイオリニスト。1899年4月26日生まれ。1997年3月14日没。
20世紀を代表するアメリカのヴァイオリニスト、教育者。妹は著名なヴィオリストのリリアン・フックス。ニューヨーク生まれ。ニューヨークでフランツ・クナイゼルに師事。1926年から1940年までクリーブランド管弦楽団のコンサートマスターを務めた。1943年にソロデビュー。ヨーロッパ、南アメリカ、ソ連、イスラエル、日本で演奏ツアーを行った。アメリカの作曲家ニコライ・ロパトニコフ、ベン・ウェーバー、イタリアの作曲家マリオ・ペガラッロのヴァイオリン協奏曲の初演を行っている。ボフスラフ・マルティヌーは、ヨーゼフと彼の妹のヴィオリストのリリアンのために作品を献呈している。ピアニストのアルトゥール・バルサムとともにヴォーン・ウィリアムズのヴァイオリンソナタの演奏も行った。1946年にジュリアード音楽院の教授に就任し、1971年にはアメリカ弦楽教授協会から表彰を受けた。
