Mairead Nesbitt (マレイド・ネスビット)。アイルランドの女性ヴァイオリニスト。1979年4月18日生まれ。
アイルランド伝統音楽とケルト音楽のヴァイオリニスト。アイルランド、ティペラリー州の音楽教師であるジョンとキャサリーン・ネスビットの間に生まれた。妹のフランシス、4人の兄弟（ショーン、マイケル、ノエル、カール）は全員音楽家である。4歳からピアノを、6歳からヴァイオリンを始める。ティペラリー州サーレスのウルスラ修道院で音楽の勉強を始め、ウォーターフォード工科大学、コーク音楽学校を経て、アイルランド国立青少年オーケストラに参加した。ロンドンのロイヤル・アカデミー・オブ・ミュージックとトリニティ・カレッジ・オブ・ミュージックでエマニュエル・ハーウィッツに師事した。家族以外に、イツァーク・パールマンやマイケル・コールマン、ブルーグラスのアリソン・クラウス、ロックのデヴィッド・ボウイやスティングから影響を受けた。
