Oscar Shumsky (オスカー・シュムスキー)。アメリカの男性ヴァイオリニスト。1917年3月23日生まれ。2000年7月24日没。
ロシア系ユダヤ人の両親のもとにフィラデルフィアで生まれる。3歳からヴァイオリンを始める。7歳の時レオポルド・ストコフスキー指揮のフィラデルフィア管弦楽団と共演してオーケストラデビュー。ヴァイオリニストのフリッツ・クライスラーからも才能を認められていた。1925年からレオポルド・アウアーに師事し、1928年から1936年の間カーティス音楽院でヴァイオリンの研鑽を積んだ。アウアーの死後は、エフレム・ジンバリストに師事。1934年にニューヨークデビュー。第2次世界大戦中はアメリカ海軍に入隊していた。カーティス音楽院、ピーボディ音楽院、イェール大学、ジュリアード音楽院などでヴァイオリンを教えていた。写真家のアンセル・アダムスと交友があり、シュムスキー自身はアマチュア写真家として写真撮影にも精力的に取り組んでいた。
