Philippe Quint (フィリップ・クイント)
ヴァイオリニスト
Philippe Quint (フィリップ・クイント)。ロシアの男性ヴァイオリニスト。1974年3月26日生まれ。
旧ソ連のレニングラードで生まれた。モスクワの特別音楽学校でロシア人ヴァイオリニストのアンドレイ・コルサコフに師事し、9歳でオーケストラデビュー。1991年にアメリカに移住した後、ジュリアード音楽院で学士号と修士号を取得し、1998年に卒業。これまでにリリースした15枚のレコーディングは高い評価を得ており、2001年のデビューアルバムであるウィリアム・シューマンのヴァイオリン協奏曲の録音は、『グラモフォン』誌と『ストラッド』誌の両誌で「エディターズ・チョイス」に選ばれ、グラミー賞にも2回ノミネートされた。2005年にマリン・アルソップと共演したバーンスタインの「セレナーデ」の録音は、英国のデイリー・テレグラフ紙の「CD of the Week」に選ばれ、グラモフォン誌の「エディターズ・チョイス」にも選ばれた。2009年には、コルンゴルトのヴァイオリン協奏曲を演奏してグラミー賞にノミネートされた。2010年8月には、ナクソス・レコードから、フリッツ・クライスラー編曲によるニッコロ・パガニーニの作品を収録した最新アルバムをリリース。世界各地で演奏活動を行っており、ロンドン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、カール・セントクレア指揮ベルリン・コーミッシェ・オーパー管弦楽団（2009年ニューイヤーコンサート）、シカゴ交響楽団、ブラムウェル・トーヴェイ指揮サンディエゴ交響楽団、ノルトヴェストドイツ交響楽団（ドイツ・ツアー）、ケープタウン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団（18回のアメリカ・ツアー）などと共演している。2004年には、ロサンゼルスのウォルト・ディズニー・コンサートホールで、レラ・アウアーバッハが自身のために作曲した協奏曲第1番を世界初演した。2010年10月には、北ドイツ・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団の創立60周年記念コンサートで、エーリヒ・ヴォルフガング・コルンゴルトのヴァイオリン協奏曲を演奏した。
