ヴァイオリニスト
Satu Vanska (サトゥ・ヴァンスカ)。フィンランドの女性ヴァイオリニスト。1979年生まれ。
キンキ地方のフィンランド人家庭に生まれ、3歳で初めてヴァイオリンのレッスンを受けた。1989年に一家でフィンランドに戻り、ラハティ・コンセルバトリウムとシベリウス・アカデミーでペルッティ・スーティネンに師事。11歳でフィンランドのクフモ・ヴァイオリン・スクールに選抜され、イリヤ・グルベルト、ジナイダ・ギレルス、パヴェル・ヴェルニコフのマスタークラスを受講し、クフモ室内楽フェスティバルでクフモ・ビルトゥオージ室内オーケストラと共演した。10代でドイツ、ミュンヘンの音楽大学でヴァイオリンを学んだ。ミュンヘン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、バイエルン放送交響楽団、トゥースランヤルヴィ音楽祭、フェスティヴォ・アッシャウに出演。1997年からミュンヘン音楽大学でアナ・チュマチェンコに師事し、2001年にディプロマを取得した。シンフォニア・ラハティによるヤング・ソロイスト・オブ・ザ・イヤー（1998年）を受賞。 2009年、シドニー音楽院のコンサートシリーズ「Sensational Sundays」に参加、ベートーヴェンのクロイツェルソナタを演奏した。
