Sirena Huang (シリーナ・ウォン)
ヴァイオリニスト
Sirena Huang (シリーナ・ウォン)。台湾の女性ヴァイオリニスト。1994年5月18日生まれ。
4歳からヴァイオリンを始める。ジュリアード音楽院のプレカレッジでステフェン・クラップ、シルヴィア・ローゼンベルグに師事。9歳のとき台湾国家交響楽団と共演してオーケストラデビュー。これまでにニューヨーク・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、クリーブランド管弦楽団、ボルティモア交響楽団、ロシア交響楽団、ハートフォード交響楽団、ニューヘヴン交響楽団などと共演。2008年のアスペン音楽祭ヴァイオリンコンクールで第1位、2015年のシンガポール国際ヴァイオリンコンクールで第3位、2016年の上海アイザック・スターン国際ヴァイオリンコンクールで第3位、2017年のエルマー・オリヴェリア国際ヴァイオリンコンクールで第1位を受賞。2006年、11歳の時TED talkでプレゼンターとして出演。YouTubeでバルトークのヴァイオリン協奏曲第2番の演奏を見ることができる。
