Hilary Hahn (ヒラリー・ハーン)。アメリカの女性ヴァイオリニスト。1979年11月27日生まれ。
21世紀を代表するヴァイオリニストの1人。バージニア州のレキシントン生まれ。メリーランド州のボルチモアで育つ。3歳からヴァイオリンを始める。1985年から1990年にかけてクララ・ベルコビッチに師事。1990年にカーティス音楽院へ入学しヤッシャ・ブロドスキーに師事。カーティス音楽院で卒業要件を満たした後もヴァイオリンの研鑽を続け、ハイメ・ラレードに師事した。11歳の時ボルティモア交響楽団と協演してソリストとしてデビュー。1994年にイヴァン・フィッシャー指揮のブダペスト祭典管弦楽団と共演して国際的にデビュー。ロリンマゼール指揮のバイエルンラジオ交響楽団と共演してベートーベンヴァイオリン協奏曲とを演奏してドイツでデビュー。1996年には、フィラデルフィア管弦楽団と共演してサンサーンスのヴァイオリン協奏曲3番を演奏。演奏技術は非常に高くどんな難曲も弾きこなし、ショスタコーヴィッチのヴァイオリン協奏曲の演奏ではその圧巻のテクニックを見ることができる。また理知的な演奏が魅力で、バッハの演奏は非常に高く評価されている。レコーディングも積極的に行っており、これまでに、モーツァルト、バッハ、チャイコフスキー、シベリウス、メンデルスゾーン、ショスタコーヴィチ、バーバー、ベートーヴェン、パガニーニ、ブラームス、エルガー、シェーンベルクのヴァイオリン協奏曲の録音をリリースしている。2005年には、第265代ローマ教皇に就任したドイツ出身の教皇ベネディクト16世の80歳を記念するバースデー・コンサートで、グスターボ・ドゥダメル指揮のシュトゥットガルト放送交響楽団と共演してモーツァルトのヴァイオリン協奏曲第2番を演奏している。
