Monique Mead (モニーク・ミード)
ヴァイオリニスト
Monique Mead (モニーク・ミード)。アメリカの女性ヴァイオリニスト。1991年6月15日生まれ。
カーネギーメロン音楽院の音楽起業家ディレクター。レナード・バーンスタインの影響を受け、ヴァイオリニスト、教育者として、生涯にわたってクラシック音楽のための活動を続けている。ソリスト、室内楽奏者、プレゼンターとして、経験豊富なコンサートファンの音楽体験を深めることに演奏活動を捧げている。1998年以降、ドイツのテレビやラジオに定期的に出演し、ベルリン、ミュンヘン、ケルンなどでドイツの一流オーケストラと革新的なユースコンサートを行っている。アメリカでは、ピッツバーグ交響楽団、サンディエゴ交響楽団、Mainly Mozart、Orcas Island、Rockport Festivalなどと共演しています。現在、Chamber Music Pittsburghの理事長を務めており、2008年から2014年にかけては、Steamboat SpringsのStrings Music Festivalの共同音楽監督を務めた。
