Soovin Kim (キム・スーヴィン)。アメリカの男性ヴァイオリニスト。1976年4月10日生まれ。
アイオワ州のアイオワシティに韓国人の両親のもとに生まれる。2歳の時、イリノイ州のボーリングブルックに家族とともに移住。家族には音楽家は1人もいなかったが、スーヴィンはクラシックヴァイオリンを好んで聴き、ヴァイオリンを始めるようになった。友人にはジェニファー・コーがいる。1985年に家族とともにニューヨーク州のプラッツバーグに移り、普通学校に通いながら、モントリオール交響楽団のコンサートマスターのリチャード・ローバーツに師事した。13歳と14歳の時ワールド・ユース・オーケストラのコンサートマスターを務めた。15歳の時クリーブランド音楽院に入学し、ドナルド・ワイラースタイン、デイヴィッド・セロンに師事。1995年19歳の時にカーティス音楽院へ移り、ジェイミー・ラレード、ヴィクトル・ダンチェンコ に師事した。1996年にジェノヴァで開催されたパガニーニ国際ヴァイオリンコンクールで優勝し一躍注目を集める。バーモント州で毎年夏に開催されるマールボロ音楽祭に参加。2005年にニューヨーク・シティに移り、ピアニストのグロリア・チェンと結婚。ニューイングランド音楽院でヴァイオリンを教えている。これまでにパガニーニの24のカプリース、フォーレのヴァイオリンソナタ、ショーソンのヴァイオリン、ピアノと弦楽四重奏のための協奏曲ニ長調を収録したアルバムをリリースしている。
